Monday News on the 1st day of christmas countdown my nevski gave to me..... a challenge. We said If we took £300 on a monday (!) we would insist that the shop stereo would only pump out the output of swedish palindromatic beat combo the Abba. Now this was stupid bravado because: a) we dont normally open on mondays, so didnt expect to have many customers b) no one set the rules for what contributed towards the total taken. So close of play on Monday and we had taken about £230 in the shop (which is actually superTrooper!) BUT.... one of ouor bigger customers paid their invoice, and the days takings were technically £1500.
